:: Adding the pounds ::

Supposely to go Sentosa and "burn some calories"....

Becoz we cant get our free tix to Sentosa...

Becoz it rained....

Becoz we had cravings...

The whole day end up into a food frenzy trip...

:: Race to the destination ::

Experienced an interesting ride on my way to the piano exam school....

Yes its racing car seats....

No its not a racing car tat i'm riding on (i mean its totally impossible right?)....

Its non other than the most average public transport... Yes its a BUS!

The marketing team is so smart to convert the whole interior bus seats into racing car seats... even the floor was made like race track...

Very interesting indeed...

Too bad my ride on the interesting bus was merely 15mins... the seats r reali comfortable ^^

At the music school, its the place i dreaded most. Not because its the place where i failed my piano the 1st time... nor how small the place is... nor how ex it is to book the room for half an hr practice ($18!!!! blood suckers!)...

I totally dun like their piano. Cannot loud, cannot soft.. feeling kinda sucky i'll be experiencing the same ordeal 2 yrs ago... hope i'll get a nice friendly examiner tat day... *pray hard*...

Hmm am thinking if i should wear a pretty dress on the day of exam. I mean most of the kids tat went for exam do dress up a bit... 1st impression does matters?

My dresses are all accumulating dust in my wardrobe. Its time for some "rampaging"...

:: Muffins or Cupcakes? ::

Spent the whole day at YC's hse. The baking activity didnt turn out as well as planned but we had lots of tea & a good time chit-chatting & gossiping ard.. haha

YC's homemade stir-fry pasta... very nice! Very fresh sashimi from the supermarket... delicious... Food deco on the plate by me! (YC's food turned out looking more yummy on pic... hehe)

Fact was the apple muffins turned out weird. Edible but not like a muffin nor anything like a pastry. Quite sad it didnt turn out like the usual way when i did it back at my own home. Not used to another oven?

Luckily the choc muffins came out like a muffin but its so small tink i'll call it a cup-cake.

HJ's uncle wont eat the muffins after having tried our soft cookies (tat we made last week). Maybe he's developing a fear from our homemade pastry. Haha...

:: Every stress needs a cup of tea ::

A recruit agent called yday! Soooooooooooooooooo hapi..

Finally SOMEONE called after sending out so many resumes... Hope i'll get more calls. No guarantee its a job offer but at least i get some response out there..

My recruit agent was quite nice so i recommended HJ to her too. The agent was quite efficient! Called HJ within a few hrs later after seeing her... Reali pray hard both of us can get a gd job soon.

After the recruit-thingy, both of us walked over to Pasta Cafe for high-tea (which was supposely to be lunch but its too late to order from their lunch hour menu...) :

Delicious chicken sandwhich & fries....

Yummy seafood platter (half eaten.. it was more than this. hahaha).....

Relaxing the remaining of the high tea with Jasmine-Rose tea....

and ice-cream brownies!

The whole meal cost ard $15-$18 per pax. Not extreme ex but after tis meal i'm starting to REALLY plan stop over-spending UNTIL i get a job.

Maybe i should jus stay home everyday... hmmmmmm

Sorta unexpected i'll be going so soon... much sooner than i've planned. But who cares when i go. So long i can go!

Supposely wasn't involved in this taiwan trip but coz i accompany parents to the travel fair yday, they asked if i wana come along while they were signing up for the tour package.

Free one of coz must go la! Ermmm not totally free though.. will need to pay back the parents after i get a job. Hmmm.. soon soon....

So excited abt the trip... finally get to visit Taiwan.. the country i've been wanting to go since my poly graduation... 8 days tour gona visit....

Sun Moon Lake.....

April... cant wait for april to come sooner....

:: Songs & Cookies ::

Been so long since i last ktv... went with bro yday...

Sing sing sing @ K-box...

Was hoping for the usual japanese bento set for their k-lunch but they sort of changed their menu... new sets wasnt tat bad but the portion was kinda small...

Bro's rice burger with unagi & egg + nuggets (extra becoz the burger was TOO small?)... tasty!

My chicken rice... not bad though tasted quite "commercial"...

Today spent the whole day baking v-day cookies with HJ.

Seriously speaking, i never reali succeed in baking this form of choc chips cookies, let alone looking almost identical to pic on the packaging of the cookies mixture. The form and taste could match famous amos!

The truth is, the success is becoz we used ready-to-bake mixture. Hahaha...

Usually i'll find recipes & buy all the necessary ingrediants to mix myself but since ready-made mixture is the most convenient & easiest way of baking, decided to give it a try ^^

The only thing i wana complain is the sugar is way too much! Too bad we cant reduce the sugar amt since it pre-mixed in the mixture.

After some self packaging (bought pretty boxes & wrappers), the cookies looked 'expensive' enuf to be pretty good v-day gifts... Low cost high quality gifts! Hehe...

A simple skin, again...

Cant find any skin tat suits my 'unique' taste.. oh well maybe i'll keep on sourcing...

Finally took some time to archive most of the old posts... its nice reading thru old memories... mostly i've totally forgotten..

We cant turn back the clock.. but only can continue forword...

Few days ago while helping bro check out our shared mobile plans, i realised i can upgrade again! Woohoo!!! But no money to change hp... awwwwwwwwwww.....

忍! 忍! 忍!!!!!!

Between touring & getting a new hp... i hope touring will happen 1st... I wana go taiwan!
