:: Aged ::

I'm abt 20hrs older...

Suddenly feel so lazy. Was quite enthu & energetic starting sat till yday. I tink i've over enjoyed myself, or rather, i'm over exhausted.

Sat day time: Bday meetup with bestest buddies grp 1. Shopped for whole day.
Sat night time: Family dinner to celebrate mum's bday & CNY groceries shopping.
Sun morning: Bday breakfast treat by MD.
Sun night: Attended one buddy's wedding.
Mon mornin: Piano lesson.
Mon afternoon: Shoppin with mum.
Tue afternoon: Work.
Tue night: Bday meetup with bestest buddies grp 2.

The whole thing jus points out to 1 thing... i'm lacking of enuf sleep. Everyday ended so late but the following i've to wake up early. Today my bday also no exception. Haiz.. attended early mornin lecture. -_-''' Duno y i'm torturing myself to attend the mornin lect instead of the afternoon 1....

The next few days aint goin to be better either... suddenly i feel like i've aged faster this mth..

Too lazy to blog abt the happenings that have happened recently.. when i got the time & mood i might post up the photos taken.. Haha.. Am very hapi with all the gifts & treats received tis yr. All the things i like, especially the ang paos. Hehe...

Tmr working again! *Tired* The work is not tiring. Its the nothin to do makes me feel sleepy, especially i'm reali kinda exhausted now. Tue i was paired with a funny kid. At least its more fun workin with him than the previous partner coz at least his willing to chat with me. Its kinda cool tat he & i shared the same interests, even though we have a major age gap of 10yrs (aiya remind me tat i'm old again... *shucks*). I tink if i have a little bro, he will be like tis kid too? Tmr duno who i will pair with... hmmm..

Fri & Sat gona be another long tiring days coz i'm been asked to be MD's bridesmaid for 2 days... *super tiring*... I tink CNY havent arrive i'm already over-exhausted. I need a break! I wana watch Jay Chou movie!

:: Owie ::

Hurt my feet, again. This round the culprit is a harmless looking pair of super light weight slipper. Its "innocent" look reali caught me off guard lor. I thought i'll jus get a few blisters frm wearing it the 1st time but it was worse than i have expected. Only 1 blister but my right feet is practically, swollen. *Shucks*

I must be darn "lucky" this week. Coz all my comfortable slippers snapped or broke one after another. 1st broke while i was on the bus last friday. 2nd base torn on sun before i even step out the hse. 3rd snapped while i was walkin (so ma lu lor coz i end up walkin bare foot back home to change shoe -_-''') So i'm now left with no comfortable slipper for my swollen feet. *Double shucks*

Well got so fed up by these matters so took the time to clear my shoe rack yday & threw away all shoes tat may broke too. I dun wana experience the same ma lu incidents again.

Have been tellin myself i shall get a new pair of slipper today but forgetful me, as usual, forget again. *Triple shucks*

:: The green.. where's the breeze? ::

Never been so annoyed early in the mornin. As if waking up at 5am isnt annoying enuf, the traffic between 6am to 7:30am adds up the annoyance. And top it up with a half an hr walk ard nearly 52 hectare, i tink i was exploding frm anger instead of the humid weather.

Why i made myself suffer so early in the mornin on this suppose to be good day? Well the story started YC asked me to join her on a temp survey job @ the botanic gdn. Frm the beginning i should have realised i shouldnt take up the job. 1stly the timing of the job sucks totally. 2 out of 3 timings clashes with my timetable. 2ndly i cant work with YC as they dun allow frienz to work together. 3rdly for a 14 days assignment, i could onli work 11 days as 3 days clashes with my frienz weddings. 4thly, in order not to clash with my classes, i pick the morning shifts, which start at 6:45am. *Faint*

So today's the 1st day of work. Woke up so early, left hse so early, yet i arrived only at the botanic at 7:30am due to the mass traffic jam @ bukit timah road. *faint x2*

Walked 15-20mins to the location pt @ Visitor centre.. pissed tat its so far away. I hate 'excercising' early in the mornin. Reach liao than realised they actually shifted me to the main gate, which made me walk another 15-20mins back to the pt i came frm. How shitty is tat?

SO, by the time i reached the supposely correct location, the time i started working was 8am. *faint x6* Stayed annoyed for a better of half an hr before calming down. Today so not my day.... The job was boring. All i had to do is count how many ppl walk in. But there was hardly ppl lor. Every 15mins abt 3 peps? *diaoz*

Decided not to work anymore since i'll confirm be late everyday. But the recruit agency made me work another 4 days, AFTERNOON shift as they dun have enuf peps. Oh well.. afternoon shift i tink i can avoid to be as late as morning shift.

The calendar sits right in front of my monitor, i practically look at it a few times everyday, but it was jus that i realised THE DAY is jus.... next week...

How can time past so fast?!

Havent receive any gifts yet. But i do know i will be getting an eyeliner frm bestest buddies group 1, a red packet frm mum, a meal frm bestest buddies group 2 and 1 duno wat gift (apparel i guess) frm HJ. Oh and 1, as usual, mix fruit cake frm bros.

Been a practical gal, i prefer peps give me things i wan. My days of happily receiving ornaments i duno where to display, things i dun use, things i dun like, are way over. Basically its jus things i will leave aside forever, permanently. But I tink tis yr i dun have anythin i reali wan. Was planning to combine my savings with the red pkt mum will give me to buy a PSP but the plan flopped, coz my $$$ was used on Jay concert. Hmmm come to tink of it, i should take the concert as an early bday gift for myself since i usually will reward myself a bday gift every yr. Nothin beats buyin a bday gift u wan urself. Its for self contentment. Hahaha.

Oh well i tink i will get tat PSP when i start to work again. Or when some kind soul decides to get me a big gift. Hmmm mmm mmm....

:: After effects ::

Am suffering from the 'after jay concert' syndrome... i cant get the whole concert high feel off my thoughts. Ha...

I feel better listening to Jay's latest album.. so i repeat the whole album the whole afternoon & night. But still cant help recalling the whole concert event. Cant shake off the super high feel lor.. Ha...

Which made me rmb last night Jay looks uncomfortable when he danced with the sexy lady dancers. Tink he was singing 夜曲 when two dancers were all over his body than he suddenly look embarassed till he starts to laugh & paused singing in the middle. Reali funny to c tat coz we all laughed too.

Jus now AL told me the purple pic i took of Jay playin piano fits perfectly as desktop wallpaper. So i tried & it reali fits perfectly! Not extremely clear but the positioning is jus nice on the desktop. So now i will c Jay everyday!

Hmm... i tink my syndrome will last a few days.. Ha...

周杰伦2008世界巡回演唱会...太屌... 太酷了!

Had a great time watchin his concert. Totally rocks! 超棒! 超high的!

The concert started off with the hit song 满城近带黄金甲.. so cool! Puts every1 in a super high mood immediately... Every1 in front of me starts to stand so i also had to stand.. else cant see clearly! Anyway, stand also good.. than i can shake & dance with the music!

This round's concert he didnt sing many fast beat songs. There were 满城近带黄金甲, 双节棍, 以父之名, 扯, 无双, 本草纲目... tink tats all.. But its so cool to c his dance & perform stances when he sing these songs... especially when he swings the 双节棍 while singing 双节棍! And as 双节棍 was the last encore song, everyone super super high! Everyone shout & scream & jump...

Very fun when he sang those cute songs like 牛仔很忙, 甜甜的, 阳光宅男, 听妈妈的话.. everyone shaked & dance with the songs. Especially 甜甜的coz it was the encore song. Made everyone wave & sing loudly...

And not to forget, those heartwarming & heartbreaking songs like 青花瓷, 最长的电影, 彩虹, 蒲公英的约定, 不能说的秘密, 夜曲... songs which we all love to sing together with Jay!

But when Jay sang 千里之外, it was so obvious he was sick.. coz he suddenly lost voice after singing a few mins.. but we all helped sang out for him. Hehe... It was worse when he sang 菊花台... practically his pitch was shaking terribly until when he sang the chorus than he managed to get his pitch stabled. Than thru out the concert, can c his tryin to clear his nose or throat. So i tink he is having a cold bah.. coz he doesnt sound like having a sore throat. But luckly only these two songs he had hiccups. The rest of the songs he managed to survive thru smoothly.

Specials must be when he invited his grandma on stage to dance while he was singing 迷迭香. So cute.. Ah Ma dance like a robot coz her bones are hard. Hahaha... And also when he played 发如雪 with the Gu Zhen... unbelievable.. he played it so well!!! At least tis round he did a lot better than 3 yrs ago while he tried playin the chinese flute. The flute was nearly a flop. Haha...

南拳妈妈 was the guest singers.. Especially like the part when Jay played piano duet "斗琴" with 宇豪 of 南拳妈妈 . Cool de!!!!! Than there was a short funny play in the middle too.. where Jay played a song he re-wrote the lyrics. Had a great laugh & the song was totally cool! Made everyone dance & shake with the music.

Well i didnt take many photos coz i was too engross listenin & watchin the concert! And also swinging with the music and also shouting my lungs out. Haha... Than i'm so glad i got a good seat. Coz i was seating beside an open pathway & on the right row, the problem of tall ppl blockin my direct front view were minimal. Plus it was not squeezy coz i could move in n out of my seat to the pathway to catch a better view.

Than the guards also prevent ppl not sittin at the side pathway seats to stand on the pathway. So it sort of make the pathway privilege standing area to those like me sittin beside it to stand. Hehe.. And i saw two FM933 DJs, 崇庆 and 李腾. 李腾 was sitting abt 6 rows in front of me and i'm so glad he was far frm me! Coz he & his gang of guys were so tall i saw tat whenever they stand, they blocked the view of the peps sitting a few rows behind them. Phew lucky me...

I must be blessed to be able to get a ticket, and at such a good seat! Had a great time tonight!!! I wana another Jay concert!!!!!!!!!!!

:: Its coming! ::

Two more days to Jay concert! Woohoooo.. so excited...

Hope i wont get lost in the indoor stadium. Still tryin to figure out where the hell is the premier entrance. Should i go there 1 hr in advance? Saw tat they will be sellin Jay concert merchandise.. hmmm might go take a look if i'm there early. I havent buy his latest album yet. But i've heard all the songs thru youtube. Hehehe..

Plan to take train & bus to indoor stadium & back home. Takin a cab is no no nowadays. Already paid a high price for the ticket i seriously dun wish to spend more $$$ to take cab. Saw on the sbs website tat there's a Stadium bus which i've never seen nor heard of. Hope they still have it coz the trip is only $2 & its goes directly to the west.

Tmr is Jay's bday.. kinda sad cant celebrate with him on his actual day. Oh well.. i believe sat we Jay fans will also celebrate with him.

So excited! Cant wait for sat to come!

:: Music of the heart ::

Used to really like english music when i was very young. But life is funny the lor. When i liked english pop, my bestest friends than only knew mandarin pop. And so i switched to mandarin pop in order to 'fit' into the group interest. Than when i'm so used to mandarin pop, i realised my new group of bestest friends are all into english pop. Its so twisted lor.

Well i'm now a lover of mandarin pop so i dun tink i will switch back to be a english pop lover.

I believe everyone will have some particular songs of certain value to them, which they will never forget. It can be THE friendship song, THE lover song, or even THE heartbreaking song. I also have THE SONG, and ironically, its 4 english songs instead of the mandarin pop that i like so much now.

There was once i hate to hear these songs... Sadness will fill my heart when i hear them....

But i guess time does let ppl get over things...

Finally decided to download these 4 songs... For pleasure listening... Really great songs..

:: Contradicitng Feelings ::

Muhahaha.... I GOT THE TICKET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The moment i hold the ticket i got this mixture of feelings.... Super hapi tat i can go watch his concert! Than very heart pain the ticket so ex. But i kept tinkin i will regret if i didnt buy the ticket. In between i was jumpin with joy i'm holding the ticket & cant resist not lookin at it multiple times to make sure i'm reali holding the ticket.

Tentatively, the percentage of happiness is higher than tat of heart pain frm the money spent. Hahaha...

Woooohoooo i will c Jay on 19th!!!!!!!!!

So excited... 3yrs since i last saw his concert... and this is the 1st time i'm watchin a concert alone! I wonder the feeling will be the same as watchin a movie alone? Hehehe.. 19th come quick!

:: Goodbye 2007.. ::

Special count down this yr! MD invited a couple of frienz go her hse celebrate. I must say tat lucky i had pizza at home be4 goin her hse... her hubby, TM, bought turkey again! Alamak... The taste of xmas turkey frm xmas eve still lingers in my taste bud lor... So i could onli stuff one small slice of turkey upon seeing it, again. To make matters worse, her hubby served pizza too! *faint*... I hate to reject again (coz they kept askin me to eat the turkey), i force myself 1 tiny slice of their pizza. Seriously, my home made pizza tasted 100x better. Hehe...

After dinner, we waited the remainin frienz to arrive be4 heading out to countdown & c fireworks. Very unfortunately, one came super late.. he arrived onli 11:30pm! So in a super rush, all of us head to the cars & in a speed i dun wish to say, rushed frm JW to Marsiling. But still, we arrived too late! We totally missed the johor fireworks... so sad. Ok la those in the car i was in, saw 1 boom of the firework. But those in the cars behind ours, onli heard the sound. Hahaha..

[Every1 got off the car, duno wat to do.. we were all too "stunned" frm missing the fireworks. Hahaha..]

Missed the fireworks n duno wat to do. So some1 suggested drive ard than go eat supper. TM's car leaded the way. Wat went on reali unexpected lor. TM drove into one super desserted area... LIM CHU KANG! Seriously, the only time i tink i will go there are: (1) Go cementry pray grandparents, (2) Take bus 172 pass by, (3) Farm visiting. Never expect 1st activity of 2008 to visit a super dark & desserted LCK. Especially freak out when he drove into this dark forrest trail... No lights, no road, no human. Very exciting lor! Its like ghost hunting in the middle of the night. But lucky us, we saw nothin. Hahaha.. Its one unique experience lor.

After the slightly hair raising experience, we drove to Pasir Panjang for the famous Prata. The place was super packed lor! End up half the peps decided to go home slp (it was ard 3am than), while the remaing 5 of us decided to go bedok for supper. 5 peps living at JW decided to drive to bedok for supper in the middle of the night... call us siao bah. Hahaha..

It was one unhealthy beginning for 2008. Haha.. 1st time tryin cheese banana prata! Tasted quite nice! Didnt quite taste the cheese though. But the banana mixed well with prata lor. If got chance, might visit this bedok area again for supper. The area was housed with ard 5-7 indian/muslim/chinese Halal restaurants. At nearing 4am, the area was still packed with many ppl. But at least we could still find seats coz there was many restaurants. Cool place.

After supper, we all agreed we must reach home be4 sunrise. Coz once we c light, we all confirm will collapse. The sunlight will be too glaring for our tired eyes. Hahaha... Time we all reached home? Near to 4:30am... Late sia! So long never stay out so late liaoz :p
