:: Canele ::

Went to try out Canele @ Orchard... initially thought the price will be very high BUT its sooooo much lower than expected. So going there again! It's now my fav restaurant..

Total of 5 main/side dishes + 2 yummy deserts for only $100 (1 dish was free due to a monthly promo). The servings r quite big so while eating the main dishes we already regret we ordered too much food. Haha...

There's chicken crepes... which i ordered... very nice! Very big too...

Seafood baked rice... tasted yummy.. the seasoning was moderate so u can still taste the freshness of the seafood + the cheese wasn't too heavy...

Seafood pasta... very fresh seafood... like the baked rice, seasoning wasn't too overwhelming...

Club sandwhich... i love this! Tasty ham + egg + toast + fresh lettuce... yummy!

Macaroons & Blueberry cake... 1st try of macaroons! Not as sweet as i imagined. Depending on the flavor selected, some r really sweet but some r moderately sweet. So i guess they altered the sweetness to match local's taste bud. As for the cake, supposely its nice but i only took a tiny bite of it coz i know it has whiskey in it... NO ALCOHOL please.... The rest of the babes also dun dare to eat much of it. Only 2 'brave souls' took the challenge n finished the whole thing.

Crepes with choc & ice cream. Absolutely mouth-watering.. freshly made crepes with not too sweet ice cream & choc... Its totally my kind of desert...

I would love to end the whole afternoon's dining experience with a nice cup of hot tea but after spending nearly 2 hrs @ Canele with my stomach totally bloated.. i gave up the idea.

Saving the tea session for the next visit! So many other food i wana try... wait till i get my next pay. Must 1st save for shopping... ^^

Overall, Canele is a great place to hang out with friends.. the ambience is comfortable, the food is really delicious and the service is good too.
